Final Speaking Project A 2.1

This is your final speaking project which you will present on June 23 from 8:00 -10:00 am.

The focus of this project is Hollywood actors.

Only one actor per group or person, so first come first served.
Let me know in class ASAP,  who you have chosen.

The Project:

The project can be presented individually, with a partner or in a group.

You need to explain why you have choose your specific actor.

You should talk about your actor's life and works.

You should present at least 2 of the actors' works.

Remember the focus of your presentation should be the movies and not so much the actor's biography.

You objective is make your presentation the best possible to get votes from your fellow students.

The voting will be done by secret ballot.

The most votes gets an extra point for the speaking presentation.

You will need to do your presentation in front of an audience (your classmates)

Remember use your imagination.

Your presentation should last at least 5 minutes per person.

You will be scored on

• Fluency
• Pronunciation
• Vocabulary use
• Grammar use
• imagination & creativity
• interaction

Some presentation ideas:

•  A TV interview type of presentation
• You may want to perform a scene from one of the actors movies
• do a formal presentation
• do an interactive presentation with your audience
• use your imagination for your presentation (more imagination more points)
• a TV talk show

NO computers or overhead projector to be used as the focus is to your the use of your English skills to present a specific topic. Limited posters but stage set is your choice.

Don’t forget to of course use Google to research information about your actor.
