CHRISTMAS ACTIVITY 2012

CHRISTMAS WORLDWIDE
Dear students,

The mini-project for this cycle is on 17th December and is related to Christmas.  For this activity, you will be assigned a country, region or continent:  United States and Canada, Latin America, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa.  Take into account the following information:

·        Prepare stands about the different traditions people have in the place you will be assigned: Decoration, music, traditional cuisine, Christmas stories and traditional figures, etc.
·        Be ready to interact with the students and teachers who are going to visit your room.  Don’t read or memorize the information you have to present.  Read in advance and try to give as many details as you can about the questions your partners are going to make.  Ask your teacher for strategies to develop your reading and speaking skills.
·        Make questions for the groups you are going to visit.  You can use the following chart as a guideline when visiting other classrooms.
