Now for my accident.
As everyone knows I am always working on my house. On Sunday I was up at the top of a ladder when the ladder broke and I fell down on a reinforcing rod ( varilla de hierro) which went though my upper arm and proceeded to rip out. I ended getting a gash about 13 cm long believe me it didn’t look pretty. No nerves or tendons were cut or broken so that was good. Anyway, I went to the hospital right away but there was no plastic surgeon and had to wait for this morning to get the wound closed. After total anaesthesia I final got on my feet around 4:00 pm. Well, I am back at home now and relaxing.
Now for a quiz.
Read the following sentence and tell me on Wednesday what the word "run" means context of my accident.
The accident happened because of a simple run.
